Tim Wilmot recommends that common sense suggests
that no event stands isolated by itself;
an event has a cause that brings it into existence
as a response to that cause.

In Tim Wilmot's case,
the cause was the criminal activity
of Caradon District Council officers
that had completely destroyed Tim Wilmot's world.

The very organisation
that theoreticly stood ready to uphold the law -
Devon & Cornwall Police -
had consistently demonstrated over the period 1990-1993
that it was primarily concerned
with the protction of Caradon District Council
from liability for crimes committed.

Tim Wilmot then had in his possession
the Police Report to the CPS
that proved without a shadow of a doubt
that police were biased in favour of Caradon District Council
to the point of perverting the course of public justice.

The problem - as ever -
was how to "slot" this strange-shaped piece of the jig-saw
into a shape-shifting, smokescreen-covered, judge-guarded receptor
that was decidedly unfriendly ( as usual ).

Tim Wilmot therefore applied to bring to court
about 30 witnesses to tell the story behind the charges he faced.

As each witness was brought to the front,
Tim Wilmot was able to explain his or her part in the story.

And the Judge rejected each one as irrelevant to the case.

Nonetheless, it was a good exercise
for Tim Wilmot to explain in public
the role each one had played.
