Police are so nice to Tolley

To Tim Wilmot, keeping your word matters.

To government, it seems it does not.

The next thing that Tim Wilmot knew,
there was a inch high report in the Cornish Times
saying how Chief Inspector Bissett
( in charge at Liskeard Police Station,
and committed to obstruct Tim Wilmot in any way )
had driven 22 miles to Tolley's home,
and given him a verbal warning.

A verbal warning is not a formal record.

A verbal warning is one part of government
saying to another part of government:-

"You are one of us!
You may have been rather silly,
but it really does not matter!
So here is a slap on the wrist!
Don't do it again!"

The Reader should ask themselves this -

If it had been Tim Wilmot armed with an aerosol can of paint,
and if he had been seen within 20 feet of Tolley,
would his feet have touched the ground?

Would Tim Wilmot not have been instantly arrested?

Double standards.

As the word of the police had been shown to be worthless,
Tim Wilmot decided to lay draft information before Magistrates
for a private prosecution of Tolley.

As usual, Tim Wilmot did it himself.
