The Chief Planning Officer's letter to Tim Wilmot
can be boiled down to one statement:-

"you are mistaken in thinking I told the Committee you wished to withdraw
( a copy of the official minutes are enclosed )".

So important was it to him, the Chief Planning Officer repeated it twice.

Now why on earth would an innocent man do that?

To Tim Wilmot the underlying message of
1. the Chief Executive handing Tim Wilmot's letter to the Chief Planning Officer, and
2. the Chief Planning Officer's reply,
was:-

"We are government. We can do whatever we like. Now f**k off!"
