In May 1991 there a CaradonDistrict Council election.

As Callington Councillor Gerald Pengelly was standing again,
Tim Wilmot wrote a detailed list of reasons
why he was unfit to be re-elected.

To make the libel stronger,
Tim Wilmot copyrighted it in his name,
and sold each copy at 5p.

Tim Wilmot was confident that he could shred in court,
and Tim Wilmot was perfectly willing to go to court.

Tim Wilmot also got a large sheet of chipboard about six feet high by four feet wide
with used hand-made detachable letters as a sign
which made it clear what Tim Wilmot thought of Pengelly.

On the day before the election
Tim Wilmot went to the square in Callington,
displayed the sign, and sold copies of my document.
